Donald Usher is an accomplished executive within the Federally Qualified Community Health Center (FQHC) industry. After receiving his B. A. in Economics and Accounting from the prestigious Tougaloo College in Tougaloo, Mississippi, he began his career serving in financial leadership positions for various community service organizations. In 1993 he was introduced to FQHCs and has since served in Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer, and Chief Operating Officer capacities. Throughout his career he has learned the intricacies of the industry, allowing him to implement strategies to stabilize financially challenged operations and position them for future growth opportunities.
His accomplishments are fueled by his appreciation for the significant impact FQHCs can make on the communities they serve. They culminate with the development of the employees who maintain them. Donald looks forward to continuing to serve as a catalyst for change and a supporter for future FQHC leadership.
